APS’s FLOWPRO® phenolic resins provide solutions for inhibiting asphaltene flocculation and deposition when incompatible crude oils are mixed. Blending of incompatible crude oils may cause asphaltenes to precipitate resulting in flow assurance or sludging issues. Treating these crude oil blends with either FLOWPRO® products can dramatically stabilize asphaltenes.
